About us

The Kazan Trio was created in 2017 on the initiative of the musicians who are currently the soloists of the ensemble, whose mission is to promote classical chamber and national Tatar music at concert venues in Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan, and other cities in Russia. The Kazan Trio consists of international competition winners Tatiana Maksimova (piano), Asiya Gareeva (violin), and Alexander Dulnev (cello). The trio is a recipient of the Grand Prix of the ART PLANET International Competition (Turkey, 2022), and they participated in the Europe-Asia International Festival of Contemporary Music (Kazan, 2022).

7. The Kazan Trio holds joint projects with representatives of other art forms: dancers, artists, and readers, who create their exclusive works of art right during the performance of music.

The ensemble performs music by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Shostakovich, Arensky, and other great Russian composers. The repertoire also includes many works by Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Chasson, Chopin, Dvorak, and others.

It is necessary to dwell on the ensemble's performance of national classical and modern Tatar music. The repertoire of the Kazan Trio includes works by E. Nizamov, G. Timerbulatova, R. Yakhin, E. Bakirov, and A. Klyucharev.
The works of contemporary Tatarstan composers arouse great interest among the audience, evoke a lively emotional response, and inspire pride in the national culture, as evidenced by numerous responses from listeners and journalists. The ensemble's virtuosic mastery of instruments creates a cohesive and harmonious sound.

Music is not just a collection of sounds for us, but a whole universe of feelings and emotions that can convey something that cannot be expressed in words. Every note, every chord, resonates with a special thrill in my soul, filling my heart with joy, sadness, or inspiration, depending on the mood of the piece. When we perform our favorite songs, it's like stepping into a parallel world where all worries fade away, and music becomes the only thing that matters in that moment.
